A sports wagering data tool

Edgeline harnesses the power of data in an attempt to find value in the sports betting market. The primary goal of Edgeline is to flag the intersection of mismatched pricing and betting opportunity, which results in positive expected value bets before the market corrects. The model's own screen is the one thing not shown since it renders the estimator and its fitted constants.

The Full Slate

All markets for the day, flagging when there is a mismatch between implied model probability, consensus sportsbook probability, and current wagering line odds. The main goal of the tool is to flag the highest expected value outcome when price diverges before the correction. The model pulls live sports data and odds line data and alerts the user to any mismatches over a given threshold. For this tool I also set up phone push notification alerting through ntfy.

The daily card — market filters across the top, a banner reporting zero flagged bets on this slate with an explanation of why that is the normal outcome, and the full slate below as a table pairing the model's probability against the de-vigged market consensus, a blended number, the resulting edge, and a decision per row with the reason it was reached

All Flags Tracked

All mismatches over a given threshold automatically get flagged and tracked in a ledger tab. The results of this tab are then used to calibrate our model throughout the course of the season.
